Gideon Van Brace

The youngest of five siblings, Gideon was always the unglamorous Engineer when they played starships, always the Redshirt to die on their pretend away missions in their neighbours’ backyards. Although he was the last to commission into Starfleet, he was first to achieve the rank of Commander, through being the only one of the siblings who entered the Engineering branch. After being the first to complete the intermediate Command Course, he was also the first of his brothers and sisters to earn a command, the USS Brazenblade.
