Almost kicked out of the Academy for hospitalising a fellow cadet who called her 'shorty', Katie's aggression proved useful during the Klingon War in 2405. During that conflict, Temper rose to command a Saber Class, and at the outbreak of the Iconian War she took command of her current Mercury Class, the USS Retaliator.
